Role Description The Pro Shop Administrator is a full-time, on-site role located at Valencia Reserve in Boynton Beach, FL. This role is responsible for daily operations of the pro shop, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment. The Pro Shop Administrator greets residents and guests, answers questions about merchandise and facility services, schedules tee times or court reservations, and supports the coordination of leagues, tournaments, and special events. The role also involves handling phone and email inquiries, updating basic signage or promotional materials, and working closely with management to ensure accurate records and reports. Consistent, friendly service and attention to detail are essential to creating a positive experience for all visitors to the pro shop. Qualifications Experience in retail or pro shop operations, including point-of-sale (POS) use, cash handling, and inventory management a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and colleagues. Basic administrative and organizational abilities, such as recordkeeping, scheduling, and following established procedures. Comfort with using computers and standard software (email, spreadsheets, scheduling systems); experience with reservation or club management software is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods, organize merchandise, and perform light physical tasks associated with maintaining the shop. Previous experience in a community association, hospitality, golf/tennis, or recreational environment is beneficial. Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule, including possible weekends or evenings based on facility needs.
