Job Summary

The Beanery Counter Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a coffee shop setting, while delivering a welcoming and personalized experience for members and guests. This role supports daily operations by preparing beverages and light food items, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring a high standard of service consistent with the club's expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to standards
• Take and process orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Prepare and serve light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, prep areas, and seating areas
• Restock supplies including cups, lids, condiments, and food items throughout the shift
• Ensure proper presentation and display of food and retail items
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or supply needs
• Handle member requests and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and cash handling
