Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Access Hospital
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend coverage is required approximately every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist licensed in Oregon. You will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care in a critical access setting. This position offers an opportunity for first-time travelers with 3 years of required experience. The role requires strong skills in ventilator management and emergency respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies following clinical protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor progress, implementing necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Manage various ventilators including Draeger and Hamilton devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide education on respiratory health to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Must hold valid RRT certification and Oregon state license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric experience is preferred.
