About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour, Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. Neurosurgery experience preferred. Telemetry experience required. License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. AHA only. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Basic Arrhythmia experience required. Description: Join a team of experienced Registered Nurses in a critical care setting. This unit specializes in the care of critically ill adult patients with various neuro diagnoses. Care for patients experiencing stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. Strong critical thinking skills are essential in this role. Utilize specialized interventions and procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia treatments. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including physicians and specialists. Be prepared to work occasional weekends and holidays. Ability to float to other units as needed. Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure. Experience with advanced monitoring techniques and equipment is preferred.
