Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Key responsibilities Conduct in-person disability assessments, review electronic medical records, and accurately document exam findings to complete VA forms. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. Qualifications and skills An active, unrestricted NP or PA license, proficiency with electronic documentation, and strong analytical and time management skills. A compassionate, professional demeanor is essential for interacting with Veterans. Responsibilities Managing a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily, providing detailed assessments, and ensuring thorough documentation using provided equipment and secure web portals.
