Job Title: Collections Representative

Location: Maple Grove, MN (Only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration)

Compensation: $24.00 - $25.00 / Per hour dependent on applicable experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

We are seeking a Collections Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in Maple Grove. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, answering questions, helping resolve account concerns, and providing a positive customer experience while supporting collections activity.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customers and accounts in the system, ensuring accurate account and contact information
• Communicate with customers regarding account balances, payments, and past-due amounts
• Provide professional, helpful customer service while assisting customers with their accounts
• Answer customer questions regarding invoices, balances, payment status, and account information
• Work with customers to discuss payment options and find appropriate payment resolutions
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances in a timely and professional manner
• Process and document payments, payment arrangements, and collection activity
• Maintain accurate customer account notes and records
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when appropriate

Qualifications

• Previous collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Comfortable discussing account balances and payments with customers
• Professional, patient, and confident when handling customer questions or concerns
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working within accounting or customer management systems
