We are seeking a dedicated Mixologist/Lead Bartender to deliver exceptional Food and Beverage service and showcase strong mixology skills in an elevated lounge setting. If you're passionate about Hospitality and ready to make a lasting impact, we invite you to become part of our team.What will you be doing:Set up and stock the bar daily, including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce.Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.Greet guests, take food and drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control.Serve food at the bar and take tables when needed.Understand food and drink menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and service.Efficiently use POS and manage bar inventory.Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and process guest checks.Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards and maintain glassware.Must adhere to all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.Other duties as assigned such as assisting security with disorderly guests and acting as a server when guests want to be served in the bar area.What we are looking for:At least two years of bartending or bar service experience in a fine dining outlet.Must be available to work weekend nights.Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.Must have a high level of knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.Must be able to recite vintages, regions, and multiple levels of liquor.Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.Bartending certificate required.TIPS certification is required.Basic math skills for cash register operations, making change, totaling checks, and understanding portion sizes.Proficient in English for guest communication and order taking; basic writing skills for requisitions, balance sheets, and vouchers.Manual dexterity for garnishes, handling glassware and bottles, scooping ice, mixing drinks, and retrieving stock.What's in it for you:A free, well-balanced meal every shiftRoom discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Hilton-branded propertiesDiscounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts restaurants, cafes, lounges, golfing, skiing, and spaFree parking"Two for one" movie theater coupons at Marcus TheatresAbility to grow your career and transfer from one property to another while maintaining your service with the companyEarly wage accessPaid time offMedical, dental, and vision insurance (offered after 30 days of employment), company-paid life insurance, employee assistance program offer, and 401k with employer matchAnd more!Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Union Shift Available: Varies (including nights, weekends and holidays) Pay Rate: $19.03/hourAbout Us: A division of The Marcus Corporation, Marcus Hotels & Resorts has a rich 60-year history of operational and service excellence.
