As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence. You will help deter security-related incidents through attentive observation, clear communication, and timely reporting. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and access-control systems, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements. Coordinate visitor, contractor, and vendor access in support of food and beverage operations, including directing authorized personnel to designated check-in areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
