Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac patient populations. Patient ratio 1:3-4. Minimal requested time off.

Highlights:

• Float to all Progressive Care and Intermediate Care Units specializing in cardiac populations
• Case mix includes STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery (CTS), and chest pain patients
• Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same units for lower acuity patients
• EPIC EMR system in use
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certification (current)
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or telemetry experience in a similar-sized facility
• Competency with cardiac drips and cardiac patient populations
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
