Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a CNC Programmer in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs using Mastercam to support low-rate production machining operations. They will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure machining processes are efficient, accurate, and repeatable while meeting quality and compliance requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, creating toolpaths, troubleshooting machining issues, supporting production needs, and identifying opportunities to improve cycle times and manufacturing processes. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity working a Monday-Thursday schedule with Fridays when needed, and a compensation range of $90,000-$100,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Advanced proficiency with Mastercam
Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes for precision-machined parts
