We are looking for a Workplace Coordinator to support daily office operations and create a welcoming, well-organized environment for employees and guests. This is a contract position suited for someone who enjoys balancing front-of-house service, workplace logistics, and vendor coordination in a fast-moving setting. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, adaptability, and a service-focused mindset, with the ability to keep workplace functions running efficiently while responding to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee reception and front desk activities, ensuring employees, visitors, and service providers receive prompt and attentive assistance.
• Monitor and respond to workplace service requests through the ticketing platform, resolving issues efficiently and maintaining a high standard of support.
• Help plan and execute in-office programs and employee events, including coordination of logistics, supplies, and day-of setup.
• Conduct routine inspections of office areas to identify needs related to presentation, safety, maintenance, and overall functionality.
• Partner with external vendors and property management to address building-related matters and support service delivery.
• Track seating arrangements, desk moves, and workspace updates while keeping floor plans, calendars, and workplace records current.
• Support office operations by maintaining inventories, stocking food and beverage supplies, and helping manage shared spaces and equipment.
• Assist with workplace communications, onboarding support, safety coordination, procedure documentation, and other special projects as assigned.• At least 2 years of experience in office coordination, facilities support, or workplace operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a busy and changing environment.
• Solid computer proficiency, including hands-on experience with Google Workspace or similar business tools.
• Familiarity with basic building operations such as lighting, HVAC, space upkeep, and general office functionality.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a consistent record of accuracy, dependability, and accountability.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a customer-focused approach when handling requests and unexpected issues.
• Additional value may come from experience with furniture assembly, building systems or access control platforms, or related academic training.
