Position Summary

The Collision Estimator serves as a key point of contact for customers throughout the repair process by preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with technicians and insurance partners, maintaining organized documentation, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from estimate through vehicle delivery.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while learning the technical aspects of collision estimating.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepareand review vehicle repair estimates.
• Gathervehicle damage information and supporting documentation.
• Communicatewith customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and internal teammembers.
• Coordinateestimate approvals and repair authorizations.
• Maintainaccurate electronic repair files and documentation.
• Assistwith parts ordering and verify parts received.
• Monitorrepair progress and communicate status updates as needed.
• Learnestimating systems, repair procedures, and insurance guidelines.
• Maintainaccurate records using company software and Microsoft Office.
• Deliverexceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
• Supportdaily operations while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

Required

• HighSchool Diploma or GED.
• Minimumtwo years of experience in customer service, administrative support,office coordination, automotive service, insurance, or a related field.
• Strongcomputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
• Strongorganizational and follow-up abilities.
• Abilityto manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experiencein automotive, collision repair, insurance, or a related industry.
• Experiencereviewing estimates, invoices, work orders, or technical documentation.
• Familiaritywith customer-facing service environments.

Physical Requirements

This position primarily works in an office environment with regular interaction in the repair facility.

Employees must be able to:

• Sitor stand for extended periods.
• Walkthroughout the repair facility.
• Occasionallylift up to 20 pounds.
• Operatecomputers and standard office equipment.
• Inspectvehicles in varying weather conditions as needed.
