Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling) Job Type: Full-Time Company: Global Connect Technologies Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience. Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong proficiency in CAD tools; Creo experience is a must. Strong project management capabilities. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Key Responsibilities Develop and update manufacturing process documentation, including tooling lists, setup requirements, and standard work instructions. Define tooling, fixturing, and material-handling requirements (e.g., carts, trolleys) for manufacturing processes. Work with tooling and fixture vendors to specify, procure, and implement new tooling solutions. Develop manufacturing process flows that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Perform assembly process planning and support systematic layout planning. Engage in production planning and control activities. Conduct direct labor studies using accepted engineering methods and establish labor standards for operations, setups, and workstation layouts. Support material flow optimization and standardization processes. Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction measures. Maintain daily project follow-ups and coordinate with customers to ensure alignment and progress. Prepare and deliver project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, and recommending actions.
