This leader will own the product direction for advanced networking solutions that enable scalable, high-throughput, low-latency, and highly reliable infrastructure. The role requires a senior product leader who can operate at the intersection of engineering, customers, ecosystem partners, and business stakeholders to define differentiated products, guide execution, and drive market success.THE PERSON:The ideal candidate is an accomplished product management executive with deep technical expertise in networking, infrastructure, or data center systems and a proven track record of leading teams through complex product lifecycles. You combine strategic product vision with strong execution discipline, technical credibility, customer orientation, and the ability to influence senior engineering, business, and customer stakeholders. You are comfortable engaging in system-level architecture discussions while translating technical tradeoffs into clear product strategy, business priorities, and market impact.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, mentor, and scale a team of technical product managers responsible for networking infrastructure products and platform capabilitiesOwn product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and execution for next-generation networking infrastructure focused on performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiencyPartner closely with hardware, software, architecture, and systems engineering teams to define product requirements and deliver differentiated networking solutionsTranslate customer needs, workload requirements, and system-level tradeoffs into clear product direction, business cases, and roadmap decisionsEngage directly with strategic customers, cloud providers, ecosystem partners, and internal stakeholders to identify market needs, validate requirements, and drive product adoptionDrive cross-functional alignment across engineering, sales, marketing, business development, operations, and executive leadership to ensure successful product deliveryEvaluate emerging networking technologies, competitive dynamics, standards, and ecosystem trends to inform AMD’s long-term infrastructure roadmapGuide full product lifecycle activities from concept and requirements definition through development, launch, customer deployment, and post-launch optimizationPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:At least 15 years of relevant experience in product management, technical product management, systems engineering, networking, infrastructure, or related technology leadership rolesProven experience leading product management teams and driving strategy for complex infrastructure, platform, semiconductor, networking, or data center productsDeep understanding of networking systems and technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA, InfiniBand, SDN, NICs, DPUs, switches, or related infrastructure componentsExperience defining, developing, or deploying high-performance networks for AI clusters, accelerated computing, or large-scale cloud infrastructureExperience defining, developing, or deploying high-performance networking solutions for storage, disaggregated infrastructure, or scale-out data center environmentsStrong ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on architecture, performance, scalability, power, cost, and reliability tradeoffsDemonstrated success working with cloud service providers, hyperscalers, enterprise customers, or large-scale infrastructure operatorsStrong executive communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and present product strategy to senior leadershipACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship#LI-DNIBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
