Position Summary

Grand Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to support our doctors and clinical team in providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to creating exceptional patient experiences.

What You'll Do

Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Welcome and guide patients through their treatment experience.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and document dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Assist doctors during restorative, surgical, and hygiene procedures.
• Support procedures through suctioning, retraction, and other chairside assistance.
• Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in electronic charts.

• Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared and operational.
• Set up trays and instruments for dental procedures.
• Prepare dental materials, including cements, impression materials, and other clinical products.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and clinical areas.

Laboratory & Administrative Support

• Pour, trim, and polish impression models.
• Fabricate temporary crowns and custom impression trays.
• Assist with inventory management and monthly supply counts.
• Support office operations and team initiatives as needed.

Community Engagement

Represent Grand Family Dentistry in community events, outreach programs, and educational opportunities.

Help promote a positive image of the practice through professionalism and patient-centered service.
