Here’s to living it up with a beer in hand.Event ExecutionEnsure all banquet events are set up, staffed, and executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)Complete room setup, décor placement, table arrangements, buffet lines, bars, and service stationsConfirm event spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready before every functionManage timelines so events start and finish on scheduleAdapt quickly to last-minute event changes or guest requestsGuest ExperienceProvide a high level of hospitality to banquet hosts and guestsAct as the main point of contact during events to resolve issues quickly and professionallyEnsure service standards are upheld throughout the eventAnticipate guest needs and create a smooth, memorable experienceTeam LeadershipLead, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staffCommunicate clear expectations before each eventHold staff accountable for service standards,Support staff during high-volume events and lead by example on the floorFoster teamwork between banquet, kitchen, bar, and management team.Communication & OrganizationMake sure that all BEO’s, CC AUTH's are submitted and printed two weeks prior to the event.Review BEOs daily and communicate all event details to FOH and BOH teamsWork closely with chefs, and FOH managers to ensure accurate executionMaintain strong communication before, during, and after each eventEnsure all changes, special requests, allergies, and timelines are clearly relayed to the teamFinancial ResponsibilityManage banquet labor to align with sales and business needsMonitor supply usage and help control operating costsSupport profitability through efficient staffing and executionMinimize waste, breakage, and unnecessary overtimeUnderstand revenue goals and help drive banquet successStandards & CleanlinessMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in banquet spaces and storage areasEnsure equipment is properly set, stored, and maintainedEnforce health department standards, food safety, and alcohol service policiesConfirm all breakdown and reset duties are completed after eventsProblem Solving & AccountabilityStay calm under pressure and make effective decisions during serviceHandle complaints or operational issues professionally and immediatelyTake ownership of event success from start to finishFollow through on details and hold the team accountable for executionProfessionalismShow up on time- If you’re going to be late, you need to reach out to your manager (Maki) letting them know.Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all timesBe dependable, flexible, and available during nights, weekends, and holidays as business demandsRepresent the company positively with clients, guests, and team membersDemonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindsetAt Tilray Brands, we recognize the importance of comprehensive total rewards.
