Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Entry Authorization in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This driving post calls for professional communication, visible presence, and prompt response to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct approved individuals to appropriate areas of the residential community.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with residents and management, report observations and incidents accurately, and follow Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience and/or degree in criminal justice.
- Possess an armed guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
