Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML & Forward Deployed Engineer with 8+ years of engineering experience to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate combines expertise in applied machine learning, software engineering, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused AI systems. This role is well-suited for professionals who enjoy solving complex business problems at the intersection of data, machine learning, software engineering, and customer-facing deployments.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Use-Case Discovery & Forward Deployment

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and customers to identify AI opportunities.
• Translate business problems into well-defined AI/ML use cases with measurable success criteria.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess:
  • Data readiness
  • Technical feasibility
  • Integration requirements
  • Operational risks
• Develop rapid prototypes and pilot solutions.
• Gather user feedback and iteratively improve deployed solutions.

2. Applied Machine Learning Engineering

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions including:
  • Classification
  • Regression
  • Ranking
  • Forecasting
  • Anomaly Detection
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Perform:
  • Feature engineering
  • Error analysis
  • Model optimization
  • Performance tuning
• Implement robust model evaluation strategies:
  • Offline metrics
  • Cross-validation
  • Experimentation
  • A/B Testing

3. Generative AI / LLM Engineering

• Build and productionize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• • Document ingestion pipelines
  • Chunking strategies
  • Embedding generation
  • Retrieval optimization
  • Re-ranking techniques
  • Response grounding
• Implement GenAI guardrails including:
  • Prompt engineering
  • Tool/Function Calling
  • Hallucination mitigation
  • Citation strategies
  • Fallback mechanisms

Agentic AI Engineering Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI Agents and multi-agent systems.
• Build AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Integrate AI agents with:
  • APIs
  • Databases
  • Enterprise applications
  • Web services
• Develop advanced prompt engineering strategies.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Connect AI agents with vector databases and enterprise knowledge bases.
• Build REST APIs and microservices for AI applications.
• Test, debug, and optimize AI agent performance.
• Deploy AI applications using Docker and cloud platforms.
• Work in Agile teams alongside AI Architects, Data Engineers, and UX teams.
• Customize AI solutions for various industries.
• Implement Responsible AI practices including safety, privacy, and content moderation.

• Experience deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Experience with cloud-native AI services.
• Knowledge of AI governance and Responsible AI practices.
