What You Will Do Ascension Seton is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician for our Ascension Seton Luling Health Center. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Luling is located about 40 miles east of Austin Lots of growth in area due to proximity to Tesla Factory and Samsung High demand for Primary Care providers in area Specialists are available to the provider due to the vast resources of Ascension Texas. Smithville has cardiology, general surgery and orthopedics on site each week Responsibilities: Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
