Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Per Diem - RN - Hospice Inn Unit at St. Peter's Hospital The Community Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice Care Team at the Hospice Inpatient Unit located at St. Peter's Hospital. 12 hour shifts-both Day and Night shifts as needed This position is unique in providing an opportunity to have a tremendous impact on patient and family quality of life at a crucial time. In this rewarding role, you will assess patient needs, respond to symptom management concerns, collaborate with physicians and care team members, and help ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those we serve. What you will need NYS RN Licensure ASN required, BSN preferred 1-2 years recent acute care experience, Hospice experience highly preferable Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and peers. Strong computer skills Strong organizational and time management skills Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation and a supportive work environment.

SPECIAL PER DIEM RATES BASED ON MONTHLY COMMITMENTS

Pay Range for non per diem: $38.00-$50.18 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
