Controller

A growing services firm is seeking a Controller to lead core accounting functions and oversee financial performance across projects. This role drives accurate reporting, system optimization, and visibility into profitability while supporting ongoing expansion. Key Responsibilities Lead close processes, financial reporting, and GAAP adherence Oversee project accounting, including revenue recognition, WIP, and margin analysis Manage financial systems and reporting to support project-level insights Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking Supervise billing, AR/AP, and cash flow activities Maintain strong internal controls and support audit processes Assist with system integration efforts tied to growth initiatives Develop and guide accounting team members Qualifications Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or advanced degree preferred) Experience in project-based or professional services environments Familiarity with ERP systems; Deltek experience strongly preferred Knowledge of revenue recognition and project financial metrics Strong analytical and Excel skills What’s Offered Competitive pay and bonus opportunities Comprehensive health benefits with full employee coverage 401(k) with company contribution Company-paid disability and life insurance Paid time off, holidays, and professional development support #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
