Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay Range: $25-29/hr.

What's the Job?

• Support operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
• Assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians in maintenance and repair efforts, while also independently performing defined tasks.
• Maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts, and assist in general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning and kitchen equipment upkeep.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and complete special tasks like painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests.
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies, ensuring the safety and functionality of facilities at all times.

What's Needed?

• Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently or within a team environment.
• Experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work is preferred.
• Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive frequently, with excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Preferred: Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, have a minimum of one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
