We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Lathe Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style lathes to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Change tooling, offsets, and programs as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC Swiss lathe machines preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

• CNC setup experience
• Knowledge of G-code and machine programming
• Background in precision machining or tooling environments

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Standing for extended periods
• Exposure to machine noise, lubricants, and metal materials
