Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
The LTAC ICU - Night Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients within a long-term acute care setting. This role requires advanced critical care skills, neuro experience, and the ability to work night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Monitor and report patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify individualized care protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies and protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient records in EPIC EMR system.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, demonstrating advanced critical care skills, including neuro management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required.
• Neuro experience strongly preferred and required.
• Must possess active nursing license with relevant state credentials.
• Recent EPIC EMR experience (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and adapt to rotating on-call responsibilities.
