Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to regulatory standards and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously to identify changes in health status.
• Administer and monitor IVs, medications, and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and post-discharge care.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with an active state license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system.
• Maintain current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and telemetry.
• Willing to work 7p-7a shifts with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
• Be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have approved medical/religious exemptions.
