Travel Occupational TherapistWe are seeking a highly motivated Travel Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Occupational Therapist include:Evaluating a patient's condition and needsDeveloping treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goalsAssessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independenceTraining patients and their caregivers to use special equipmentAssessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposesQualifications:Doctorate or Master of Occupational Therapy is requiredCurrent CPR certificationOne (1) year experience in acute care, or out/in-patient setting preferredIowa State Occupational Therapy Licensure is requiredAdult therapy experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.Experience with general Pediatrics.Certified Lymphedema therapist is required.As a Occupational Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care is our top priority.
