Wire EDM Operator

Hazelwood, MO | Full-Time | First Shift

Are you a skilled machinist who enjoys precision work and creating high-quality tooling components? We are seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator to join a well-established, industry-leading precision manufacturing team specializing in tool and die production, progressive dies, and custom tooling solutions. What You'll Do

• Set up, program, and operate Wire EDM equipment to manufacture precision tooling and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Produce parts to tight tolerances while maintaining quality standards
• Perform machine setups, offsets, and program adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with Tool & Die Makers, Machinists, and Engineering teams to meet production goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Wire EDM experience in a manufacturing or tool and die environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of precision machining and tight-tolerance manufacturing
• Experience with measuring and inspection equipment
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
