Payroll Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of payroll operations in Germany within a fast-paced international environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows German payroll inside out, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is comfortable working across global teams and systems. What you’ll be doing: Managing end-to-end payroll processing for Germany , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery Acting as the go-to expert for local payroll legislation, tax, and statutory requirements Working closely with internal teams across payroll, finance, tax, product, and customer operations Supporting payroll process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and compliance risks Helping scale and improve payroll operations in a growing global business What we’re looking for: Strong experience managing payroll operations in Latvia Exposure to international or multi-country payroll environments Solid understanding of payroll compliance, controls, reconciliations, and reporting Confident communicator who can work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment Experience with payroll systems, automation tools, and data analysis JGA Recruitment Group Ltd ("We") are committed to equality of opportunity for all applications regardless of disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
