PWM Account Opening Specialist

Position Overview The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Account Opening Specialist works with Wealth Management and Operations to fulfill new account opening requests for banking deposit accounts and trust and investment accounts. The specialist is a subject matter expert on Private Wealth Management products and the procedures related to new account opening and funding. Responsibilities Own the account opening process from initiation to account funding, serving as the primary internal contact. Monitor the various stages of the account opening process and adhere to Service Level Agreements. Communicate and follow up with local advisors and support staff. Coordinate activities with multiple departments to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient implementation of customer products and services. Resolve issues related to missing or conflicting information and documentation by coordinating with customers, sales staff, relationship managers, and operations staff. Work Location This role is hybrid. Team members typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, with flexibility on the remaining days. Basic Qualifications Associate's degree and/or at least five years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills and Experience Basic knowledge of department operations, policies, and bank products/services acquired through training and experience. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven client service and problem‑resolution skills. Proficient computer navigation skills in Microsoft Office and related software packages. Pay Range $22.50 – $30.00 per hour (range may vary by location).
