Senior AS400 Developer

Overview:

Ideal candidates will have experience with:

Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Implementation Dealing with Customer

Candidate should have more than 5 years of AS400 Production Support

Hands-on experience in the following skill set: RentalMan, RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, DB400, SQLRPGLE, ILE Concept.

• Candidate should be aware of all development phases Agile Knowledge

• Production Support experience

• Candidate should have strong communication skills

• Candidate should have at least 4 years of Retail experience

• Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.

• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.

• Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.

• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.

• Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.

• Analyze business requirements then design, create and maintain applications using SQLRPGLE on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform.

• Knowledge of Visual Explain and performance tools on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform.

• Knowledge and use of IBM Rational Developer for i (known as RDi source, debug, etc. tool). Knowledge of source control software (Aldon) on IBMiiSeriesAS400 platform.

• Prepare detailed design specifications from which programs will be written, coded, tested, debugged and documented.

• Utilize technology to solve problems and provide software solutions with varying degrees of complexity. Work directly with department users to innovate and improve operations processes.

• Drive to completion all phases of application development
