Job Responsibilities/Results

• Assist with electrical maintenance throughout the building.
• Assist with plumbing within the building.
• Assist with the heating/cooling system within the building.
• Handle and/or assist with general repairs throughout the building.
• Recycling – batteries, plastic, paper, razor blades, cans, UV blubs, etc.
• Maintain the property grounds.
• Support and assist with Health & Safety
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

• Education: High School degree or equivalent. Vo-tech degree in one or more of the following areas is advantageous: plumbing, electrical, or heating/cooling is desired. Must have a Minnesota Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, or heating, cooling desired; 2 years' experience in all type of mechanical equipment a must.

Knowledge / Technical Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge in the areas of: plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical and general

Competencies, Skills & Abilities

• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be mechanically
• Ability to use small and large hand tools
• Ability to walk, crawl, bend, climb, kneel, overhead reach, and differentiate color
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 50 required.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Typing and computer skills

Working Conditions

• Mostly office and manufacturing environment.
• Occasionally outdoor work in warm and cold temperatures and dusty conditions.
• Inventory areas to be kept clean and organized at all times.
• Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives as given by the manager

Equipment Operation

• Hand tools, electrical test equipment, ladders, power tools, snow blower, company vehicle, lawn mower and computer

Salary and Other Compensation :

The hourly rate for this position is between $22.95 - $30.29 / hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
