We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Line Cook / Grill Cook / Prep Cook to join our growing Italian deli and market team. If you enjoy creating quality food, take pride in your work, and thrive in a busy kitchen environment, we’d love to meet you.
In this role, you’ll help prepare fresh ingredients, cook made-to-order items, and support daily kitchen operations while delivering the high-quality experience our customers love.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare fresh ingredients and food items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Cook and assemble sandwiches, grilled items, hot foods, and deli specialties with consistency and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
- Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to health and safety guidelines
- Work alongside the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently
- Assist with stocking, inventory, and prep for daily operations
- Properly use kitchen equipment including grills, slicers, knives, fryers, and prep stations
- Help maintain quality, presentation, and portion standards throughout service
- Support catering and special orders as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen, deli, grill, or food prep experience preferred (but we’re willing to train the right person)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality food
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies when needed
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays when required
