Entry Level Low Voltage Technician

This is an entry level opening. Any candidate with some hands on Cabling, electrical or HVAC experience or training will be consider.

Description

Overview The Level 1 Technician supports the installation and maintenance of low-voltage communications infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with technical training in electrical, telecommunications, or structured cabling systems who are looking to develop hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

Install and support fiber and copper cabling systems

Assist with structured cabling and network infrastructure projects

Perform equipment mounting, racking, and cable management

Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

Support CCTV, security, access control, and telecommunications installations

Troubleshoot basic connectivity and cabling issues

Maintain job-site safety standards

Assist with warehouse activities and material handling as needed

Skills

Low-voltage cabling, Fiber and copper cabling, Conduit installation/bending

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical training in Electrical Systems, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field

Experience with low-voltage systems preferred

Understanding of fiber and copper cabling

Ability to work in industrial, warehouse, and construction environments

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Reliable transportation and attendance

This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
