Job Family Group Staff Department/Office Assistant Director for Buildings & Grounds Time Type Full time Compensation $25.40-$31.75 Please note, starting salaries are based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, and education. Exemption Status Non-Exempt Job Description Performs HVAC mechanical/electrical duties at the factory trained level of proficiency on chilled water systems, commercial VRF systems and secondary HVAC air and water systems. Education Required High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Formal OJT or Apprentice Program. Completion of a two-year vocational training program or apprenticeship training program in related HVAC field. Experience Required Five years of journey level experience in a VRF mechanical and electrical field. Factory certified training from VRF manufacturer. Preferred Five years of experience in commercial HVAC mechanical and electrical field. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required Proficient with commercial DX systems, central plant equipment, and secondary HVAC air and water systems, pumps, heat exchangers. Preferred Ability to handle multiple priorities. Licenses/Certifications Required Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and have a good driving history. May not have more than two moving violations in a three-year period. Type III certification for refrigerant recovery/recycling as established by the EPA.
