As a Security Officer Access Control Desk in Fort Lee, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, helping with access control, visitor interactions, and communication that supports a secure environment. In this stationary role, you will use professionalism, care, and integrity to help address security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting residents and visitors, verifying entry permissions, maintaining visitor records, and reporting unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support daily front desk operations while helping to address incidents, maintenance concerns, and other property-related issues according to location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
