Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Appropriate licensure for the specific role; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for registered nursing responsibilities. Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification is required for patient care technician responsibilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and certification in peritoneal dialysis nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Renal medicine unit with 18 beds. Clinical responsibilities include peritoneal dialysis and use of mobilization equipment, lift equipment, cyclers, and scales. Patient assignments may range from 1:4 to 1:6 for registered nurses and 1:9 to 1:18 for patient care technicians. Weekend and holiday coverage rotates. Scrub attire is navy blue for registered nurses and galaxy blue for certified nursing assistants.
