Job Title: Entry Level Electronics Assembly

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling circuit boards and related sub-assemblies used across multiple applications. You will work with hand tools and production machinery to build and inspect electronic components, following detailed computer-based instructions. The position is ideal for entry-level production workers who are comfortable using basic computer programs and enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches.

• Operate production machinery to print solder paste and process smaller electronic components.

• Perform thorough quality checks on completed assemblies before moving them to the next stage in the production process.

• Use computers to access step-by-step instructions for each assembly, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.

• Log into and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously to locate and follow the correct assembly instructions.

• Handle general production tasks, including picking and packaging parts and products as needed.

• Apply soldering techniques to electronic components when required, maintaining clean and precise work.

• Support a smooth production flow by following established processes and meeting daily production goals.

• Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors to clarify instructions and resolve issues during assembly.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to facility guidelines and safety practices.

Essential Skills

• Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches safely and accurately.

• Comfort with operating production machinery for tasks such as printing solder paste and handling small components.

• Capability to perform detailed quality checks on assemblies to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Basic computer skills, including logging into multiple programs and following on-screen, step-by-step instructions.

• General production experience, including assembly, picking, packaging, or related tasks.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and visual instructions consistently.

• Strong reliability and willingness to learn new processes and tools in a production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of assembly experience preferred.

• 1–2 years of soldering experience is highly valued and can lead to higher starting pay.

• Any amount of picking and packaging experience is helpful in this role.

• Background in customer service roles is beneficial, as individuals with this experience tend to perform well.

• Ability to use basic computer programs daily in a production setting.

• Experience with general production work, including handling materials and preparing products for shipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.30/hr.
