Jackson and Coker is hiring an Accounting Intern for Summer of 2027 As an Accounting Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced accounting professionals while supporting day-to-day financial operations. Interns receive structured training and exposure to key accounting processes, providing a strong foundation for future careers in accounting and finance. This internship offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while contributing to projects that support business operations across the organization. What You’ll Do: Support routine accounting transaction processes, including data entry, account reconciliations, and documentation management. Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports and monthly reporting activities. Collaborate with team members to research and resolve accounting discrepancies. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows. Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and maintain financial data. Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Complete special projects and other assignments as needed. What We’re Looking For: Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must be able to work under pressure and sustain a fast‑paced work environment. Work independently and collaboratively as a team player. Ability to shift focus and direction quickly. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Basic Accounting Processes. Final year student at an accredited college or university preferred. Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. Previous Accounting Internship experience or exposure to an accounting discipline preferred.
