This is a Key Position.This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functionsDepartment of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required within 2 yearsThis position must be removed from the Ready Reserve and cannot become a member of the Ready Reserve.Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:Planning, Executing, Reviewing, Scheduling, Coordinating, and Controlling assigned Physical Security activities and programs throughout an agency.Developing new procedures, instruction, and updates for command-wide policy and programs in response to emerging technology developments and expanded security requirements.Planning, executing, coordinating, and controlling assigned Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection activities and programs.
