High Level Technical Sourcer

Technical Talent Sourcer / Talent Mapping Specialist (Contract) Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Type: Long-Term Contract Assignment We are seeking an experienced Technical Talent Sourcer with strong talent mapping and market intelligence expertise to support a dynamic technology recruiting organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels at identifying and engaging highly specialized technical talent, conducting competitive research, and partnering across multiple business areas to address evolving hiring priorities. Key Responsibilities Develop talent maps, competitive intelligence reports, and target company strategies to identify top technical talent. Conduct advanced sourcing and research to uncover passive candidates beyond traditional channels. Support recruiting needs across multiple technology functions and lines of business, adapting quickly as priorities shift. Identify, engage, and evaluate technical professionals at Manager through Director+ level. Build pipelines of highly specialized AI/ML engineering and research talent. Partner closely with recruiting teams and hiring stakeholders to provide market insights and talent recommendations. Required Qualifications Proven experience sourcing and recruiting across multiple technical disciplines rather than a single specialty area. Ability to shift focus seamlessly across different business units and hiring priorities. Strong candidate assessment and screening experience for technical talent, including leadership-level positions. Expertise in passive candidate outreach, talent research, and strategic sourcing methodologies. Experience utilizing a variety of sourcing tools, market intelligence resources, and networking techniques. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success identifying and engaging technical leaders up to the Director level and above. Advanced talent mapping and competitive intelligence experience. Strong track record sourcing highly niche or hard-to-find technical skill sets, particularly within AI/ML environments. Business acumen and strategic thinking that could support future growth into a full-life-cycle recruiting role. Ideal Candidate Resourceful, curious, and highly analytical. Hybrid schedule requires working onsite in McLean, VA three days per week.
