Work for a 40 year old, family owned company with a casual environment that allows you to work autonomously and take ownership over your duties! Work 8-4 Monday-Friday and miss the rush hour traffic home!

What Your Future Day Will Look Like:

• Recruits, interviews, screens, testing and hires potential craft candidates, performs background checks, facilitates transfers between projects
• Responsible for recruiting plan to include online job placement, advertising, career fairs, building relationships with trade schools, state employment agencies
• Works closely with management team to recruit and meet the demand of hiring schedules
• Completes new employee orientation, onboarding activities, front line supervisor and benefits training
• Provides support to employees and management, to include coaching and counseling on performance and conflict management
• Responsible for developing company policies, procedures and maintaining HR records for Safety compliance, DOT/FMCSA regulations and Insurance requirements
• Maintains all HR documentation, will develop new HRIS and navigate the system from company, candidate side
• Assists in implementation and administration of employee safety, fosters employee relations, appreciation programs and events
• Facilitates and participates in employee evaluations and communication
• Communicates with tax and other insurance professionals regarding payroll

Benefits Offered:

Salary: $50,000-$70,000

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• 3-5+ years of prior recruiting in manufacturing or construction
• Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment and pass a drug screen
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• QuickBooks a plus
