Job Title: Sr. Cloud Architect Job ID: 2024-12887 Job Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ or Omaha, NE Job Travel Location(s): # Positions: 1 Employment Type: W2 Duration:Long Term # of Layers:0 Work Eligibility:US Permanent Eligibility to Work Required Key Technology:Azure, Zero Trust, Architecture, Scaled Agile Framework Job Responsibilities: Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery Engage with senior management to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing Understand desired business outcomes desired by customer and translate these to requirements for the solution, and recommend potential options Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security Effectively articulate the solution to both internal stakeholders and customers Skills and Experience Required: Required: Expert in cloud architect with experience in several cloud technologies Azure, IBM SmartCloud, AWS as well as mainframe. Must be able to communicate with executive level people and able to quickly assess what technology approach works and what does not work. Able to be involved in presales by providing technical expertise as well as crunch financial numbers for RFPs. Azure and IBM SmartCloud experience. AWS and Mainframe (CICS, IMS, DB2) experience.
