General Manager

Job Overview Position: Full Time Restaurant Manager – Market Square (338) Brand: Moe’s Southwest Grill Summary Responsible for leading and managing a restaurant with a sales volume of $650,000 to $2.5 M. Day‑to‑day leadership of people and financial management to achieve return on investment. Maintain restaurant standards for food quality, service friendliness, cleanliness and safety for employees and guests. Essential Functions Staff the restaurant with “A” Players. Responsible for attracting, selecting and retaining quality employees and hourly management for restaurant operations. Implement local recruitment techniques. Onboard and train employees to brand standards. Coach, provide feedback and develop employees and management to build a quality team. Schedule development and positioning of employees. Facilitate employee meetings periodically. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and applicable laws. Communicate employee matters to leadership. Drive Radical Hospitality for guests. Maintain all standards of excellence in line with brand quality for food, service, cleanliness and safety. Ensure employees follow recipes, procedures and policies. Drive guest satisfaction and local store marketing programs. Lead investigation and resolution of guest complaints and feedback. Ensure equipment operates efficiently and facility meets company standards. Manage local store marketing with the marketing team. Build and maintain relationships with the community. Lead and manage catering sales. Hit food cost and labor cost standards. Drive financial results to achieve ROI. Grow sales and revenue year over year. Forecast sales and adjust as needed. Maximize profitability by controlling cost of sales, labor, payroll and other controllable costs. Ensure operational systems and procedures are adhered to. Ensure product availability. Perform administrative duties, including daily, weekly and periodic company financial reports. Review and analyze profit and loss statements. Diagnose opportunities and develop action plans to correct deficiencies. Align with leadership and implement plans. Maintain the restaurant facility and equipment in working order. Consistently exhibit actions and behaviors that demonstrate company values; perform all other tasks as directed by the company leadership team, including Above Store Leadership and their representatives; represent Moe’s and Quality Fresca, LLC professionally. Other duties as assigned. Education and Work Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience in restaurant operations. ServSafe certification required. At least 2 years restaurant management experience required. Physical and Cognitive Requirements Regularly required to communicate clearly, move, and remain in a stationary position. Occasional transport or move up to 50 pounds. Must detect, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, inspect, estimate, observe, and assess items, information, and objects in an office or remote office setting or restaurant environment.
