Regional Operations Manager

Oversee regional warehouse operations to deliver and maintain outstanding customer service Manage and participate in business acquisitions, warehouse moves, and special projects Manage activities related to dispatching, routing, receiving, picking, inventory, and returns of warehouse operations to determine equipment, facilities and staffing needs Maintain a current knowledge level of new concepts, techniques, and technologies related to our processes, products, and services to support continuous improvement efforts encompassing identified best practices Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations Review and manage safety and loss prevention programs Mentor and develop associates Travel required 50%-75% of the time Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience 5 - 7 years warehouse and/or distribution experience 3 years supervisory/management experience Valid driver’s license with good driving record Knowledgeable in material handling and inventory documentation Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers Ability to understand, review and complete budgets Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization Ability to deal with a variety of situations and make decisions and adjustments as unexpected situations arise Ability to deal with customers and suppliers Comprehensive understanding of safety and OSHA requirements Ability to project a positive image to customers Demonstrated product, technical and customer service knowledge Knowledgeable in applicable computer software Ability to travel with short notice #J-18808-Ljbffr
