Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead external and internal financial reporting efforts while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This hybrid role, based in downtown Columbus, is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and driving accuracy in financial reporting. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements Manage external reporting processes, including filings and disclosures Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders Oversee technical accounting research and implementation of new standards Review complex accounting transactions and journal entries Develop and maintain internal controls related to financial reporting Collaborate with accounting, FP&A, tax, and leadership teams Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting efficiency Mentor and support accounting team members as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience Strong financial reporting and technical accounting background In‑depth knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation Prior experience working with external auditors Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills CPA required (or equivalent certification) What Our Client Offers Hybrid work schedule with flexibility Visible role with interaction across leadership teams Opportunities to influence reporting processes and strategy Stable organization with long‑term growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Ringside Talent Acquisition Partners
