Turning Machinist

Advance your machining career in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility in Coon Rapids, MN! Twin City Staffing is hiring a turning machinist for 1st or 2nd shift direct-hire opportunities. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC turning equipment, interpret GD&T blueprints, inspect precision parts, and maintain quality output. If you are seeking up to $39.36/hr. Wage: $25.00 - $39.36/hr. (Based on experience; +$1.00/hr. shift differential for 2nd shift)
Hours:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift Options: 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday - Thursday OR 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday

- Set up and operate CNC turning lathes and conventional machining equipment to produce precision components
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, process sheets, and GD&T specifications
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot equipment setups and technical roadblocks to achieve tight tolerance and delivery goals
- Proven CNC turning or conventional lathe machining experience
- In-depth knowledge of machine tooling, custom fixtures, and shop production processes
- High proficiency in reading blueprints, GD&T application, and precision measurement tools
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work selected 1st or 2nd shift schedule
