Physical Therapist

Schedule
40 hours a week. Shifts vary. Monday - Friday 7 am - 6 pm & Saturday 8 am - 1 pm.

Requirements
- Active license as a Physical Therapist in Alaska
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in adult outpatient rehab
- Must have flu vaccinations

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans to enhance patient functionality.
- Provide treatment for a diverse range of patients across various age groups and diagnoses.
- Supervise and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other support staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and discharge planning.
- Document patient encounters and treatment progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and methods to promote self-care and independence.
