Mechanical Assembler in York, PA
First Shift: 8a-4:30p
Pay: $20/hour

• Overview

Assemble hydraulic valves-both onoff and proportional types-for machinery. You'll manage daily assigned projects, select correct components, perform mechanical assembly, and complete quality testing to ensure every product meets performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic valves (onoff & proportional).
• Review daily project assignments and complete them accurately and on schedule.
• Pick and organize correct parts using measurements and component specs.
• Perform smallpart mechanical assembly using hand tools and power drills.
• Follow schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Test assembled valves using machines for scratch resistance, heat resistance, and performance checks.
• Maintain consistent quality during repetitive assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished components for accuracy, measurements, and functionality.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with a small team and follow supervisor direction.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing or production.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and power drills.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with basic product testing and durability checks.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Comfortable with repetitive, precisionfocused work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Smallpart assembly experience.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems or valve components.
• Ability to follow written and visual instructions.
• Able to work independently while supporting a small team.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
