About the Role Our client seeks an innovative and analytical Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes at their facility in Welkom. This role is fundamental in enhancing production efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality output. You will analyze existing production methods, identify areas for improvement, and implement new technologies and techniques. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and a passion for continuous process improvement within a demanding industrial setting. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement process changes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs. Design, test, and implement new production methods and technologies. Monitor process performance, collect data, and generate reports on key performance indicators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to implement process improvements. Ensure processes comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of process optimization techniques, statistical process control (SPC), and lean manufacturing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
