Construction Safety Manager Location: Florence, KY Duration: 3 Months (Start: 7/20) Type: 1099 Contractor Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $56/hr (Local - No Per Diem) Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours Per Diem: None Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM 10 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation Why This Opportunity? Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification 3+ years of construction safety experience Experience supporting General Contractor operations Preferred Qualifications Distribution center or logistics facility construction experience Experience supporting multiple subcontractors and trades Commercial construction experience CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential Amazon project experience What You'll Be Doing Oversee daily safety activities for general contractor operations Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements Coordinate safety efforts among multiple trades and subcontractors Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety coaching Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Partner with project management and field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards Promote a positive safety culture across the project Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards General Contractor Safety Management Commercial Construction Operations Multi-Trade Construction Coordination Distribution & Logistics Facility Construction Fall Protection & Elevated Work Activities Material Handling Operations Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation Safety Auditing & Compliance Monitoring What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a highly visible, field-focused safety professional who can build strong relationships with contractors and project leadership, proactively identify hazards, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the safe execution of construction activities while maintaining project productivity.
